Nutria and chicks - no problem (June 25, 2009)
Updated! One time I believed the weather forecast and it does not put me in the middle of a wicked thunderstorm. But beforehand, there was beautiful sunshine and interesting findings on the socialization of various species in an enclosure. What Zoologists & Co. herumtüfteln long planned and done in no time Mother Nature: A mother duck chose the beaver marsh plant as a home for her small family. Nutria
Behind the rhino park, right at the entrance of Neptune, is the investment of nutria with a source / Waterfall on a slope, a small pond with a small island and plenty of space to play and hide for the two nutria.

The two sweet swamp beaver female, around 3-4 years old, currently live peacefully together with a mama duck and her chicks.
Update 1 July 2009: the duck family seems to be looking for another place to have. They are no longer in the nutria-plant!

... After the Munter gallopierte Be Sundi like a madman through the plant (apparently also Rhinos such as cats now and then their "narrischen 5 minutes!"). During the break, she tried to muddle through the barrier in the other part of the plant to push:

What else ...
Despite rumbling thunder could be the three lions Kijoqo children, Marlindi & Malawi dinner taste. In a safe distance she nibbles at their steaks and watched while the other siblings warily:
All steaks are always the same size?

Incidentally, the Löwen trio is on 28 July 2009 only a year old.
